Rule-out: it is not the obvious first choice when your route depends on a chain or asset outside its supported network set.

Stargate

Best at: moving widely used stablecoins and other supported assets through shared cross-chain liquidity.

Rule-out: the route may be less attractive when the asset is thinly supported or you need a very specific destination token.

deBridge

Best at: cross-chain swaps and programmable transactions, including routes where you want an action to happen after funds arrive.

How to choose

Start with the destination, not the bridge brand. Confirm the exact network, token contract, and whether you will receive the native asset, a canonical representation, or a wrapped version. Then compare the final amount received, estimated time, and required gas on both sides.

  • Does the destination address belong to the same wallet or account?
  • Is the token contract verified on the destination chain?
  • Will the received asset be accepted by the DeFi application you plan to use?
  • Do you have enough native gas token on the destination network?

  • Are you using the project’s official domain and checking the transaction details before signing?
